British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) – Os Vencedores de 2023

No próximo fim de semana, mais especificamente no dia 12 de março (em Portugal será na madrugada de dia 13 de março) irá decorrer a cerimónia dos Óscares, considerado por muitos a maior premiação da indústria do cinema, para destacar os melhores filmes do último ano (seno que cá em Portugal, muitos destes filmes apenas estrearam este ano). Assim sendo, porque não fazer uma retrospetiva de algumas premiações que antecedem os Óscares, para estarmos mais ou menos a par dos grandes favoritos, assim, o artigo de hoje é dedicado às premiações dos BAFTA.

A 76ª edição dos Prémios da Academia Britânica de Cinema (British Academy Film Awards de 20223) ou BAFTA 20223 decorreu no passado mês, no dia 19 de fevereiro no já habitual Royal Albert Hall em Londres.

Nesta edição dos BAFTA, houve uma dominância por parte de 3 filmes, o grande destaque vai para o filme Im Westen nichts Neues uma longa-metragem de origem alemã distribuído pela Netflix, arrecadando 7 galardões de um total de 14 nomeações. Os restantes lugares do pódio são repartidos de igual forma com 4 estatuetas cada, pelos filmes: The Banshees of Inisherin e Elvis.

O primeiro teve um maior destaque a nível de interpretações (ator e atriz secundária), mas também recebeu o prémio como Melhor Filme Britânico e Argumento Original. Já o filme Elvis, destacou-se mais pelo trabalho técnico (Melhor Caracterização, Produção Artística e Melhor Guarda-Roupa), além destes o ator Austin Butler que interpreta Elvis nesta longa-metragem, recebeu a premiação de melhor ator, a outra premiação em termos de atuação principal, foi para a atriz Cate Blanchett com o seu papel em Tár.
