A cerimónia desta edição dos Hollywood Critics Association, que vai ditar os vencedores nas diversas categorias, será realizada no dia 22 de agosto de 2021. Entre os nomeados o pódio é divido por 3 grandes canais americanos, NBC (com 29 nomeações), HBO (igualmente nomeado 29 vezes) e no terceiro lugar temos a plataforma de streaming Netflix (com 28 nomeações). Posteriormente temos a Disney plus, Apple TV+ e HBO Max, mostrando que existe cada vez mais, uma maior afluência das plataformas de streaming por parte dos consumidores.
