Golden Globe Awards – Os Vencedores de 2021

Devido à situação pandêmica que se vive mundialmente, que obrigaram (pela primeira vez) este evento a ter limites a nível de plateia (que esta, normalmente, ajuda a exponenciar os momentos vividos, através dos seus risos e aplausos) e decorrer na sua grande maioria via online, onde apenas estiveram presencialmente no recinto as principais apresentadoras que conduziram a cerimónia, assim como os atores, diretores entre outros, que fizeram a honra de anunciar os vencedores.

Esta noite de premiações da 78ª edição dos Globos de Ouro (78th Golden Globe Awards), que foi liderada pelas atrizes, comediantes e apresentadoras Amy Poehler e Tina Fey, tinha de tudo para ser uma das menos memoráveis da história dos Golden Globes Awards, devido à dificuldade de proporcionar um espetáculo televisivo como nos tem sido habituado.

Durante estas premiações os tópicos que dominaram foram as questões associadas à falta de diversidade (em certa medida os resultados refletem esta preocupação) e os problemas ambientais.
Destacam-se os prémios honorários Cecil B. deMille Award e Carol Burnett Award, para a atriz Jane Fonda e o argumentista e produtor Norman Lear respetivamente.

Para além destes prémios, ressalva-se também o momento mais emocionante da noite, que foi o prémio póstumo de melhor ator para Chadwick Boseman (algo que muitos já estariam à espera, principalmente pela sua interpretação em Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom).

Durante esta cerimónia, verificou-se que o grande vencedor da noite foi o canal de streaming Netflix (também possuía o maior número de nomeados), que arrecadou um total de 9 prémios nas diferentes categorias. Em relação aos vencedores, também possível verificar que os prémios foram bastante diversificados, não se observando um vencedor arrebatador (ou um “papa estatuetas”), salienta-se apenas Nomadland, que arrecadou o globo de ouro de melhor filme e de melhor diretor (um pormenor à parte, esta longa-metragem não é exclusiva dos canais de streaming).
