Comic-Con 2021 San Diego – Eisner Awards (Vencedores)

No passado dia 23 deste mês de julho, ocorreram, durante a Comic-Con 2021 de San Diego, os Prémios Eisner 2021, considerados os óscares das bandas-desenhadas.

Neste evento Luen Yang destacou-se por vencer 3 prêmios: Melhor Publicação Infantil, Melhor Adaptação para Outro Medium e Melhor Publicação para Adolescentes. Houve ainda também 7 galardoados com 2 prémios: Ed Brubaker (Melhor Livro de BD e Melhor BD Digital), Matt Fraction & Steve Lieber (Melhor Série Limitada e Melhor Publicação de Humor), Simon Hanselmann (Melhor Livro de BD Reeditado e Melhor Webcomic), Junji Ito (Melhor Edição Norte-Americana de BD Asiática e Melhor Argumentista/Desenhador), Stan Sakai (Melhor Série em Continuação e Melhor Legendagem) e Adian Tomine (Melhor BD Biográfica e Melhor Design de Publicação). A DC Comics foi a editora com mais prémios, tendo arrecadado um total de 5 galardões (um deles partilhado) – 2 prémios para Superman Smashes the Klan e outros 2 para Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen, bem como o prémio partilhado do Melhor Argumentista, James Tynion IV (com a Boom!, Image e Tiny Onion).
